Born from his vision to nurture future champions, the academy carries forward his passion
for excellence, discipline, and the true spirit of Indian hockey.
A Humble Beginning with a Big Vision: With the noble aim of promoting hockey and
discovering the next “SURJIT” among budding players, Surjit Hockey Academy began its
journey during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting with just 10 local
boys from Jalandhar and neighbouring districts after relaxation in gathering restrictions,
the academy has now grown exponentially, training over 200 young players at the
iconic Surjit Hockey Stadium, Jalandhar.
